12” Figures and Dolls

Star Wars 12-inch figures and dolls span several distinct eras of collecting, starting with the original 1978–1980 Kenner Large Size Action Figures and evolving into modern high-end collector figures. Because these larger scales often feature real cloth clothing and removable gear, they are frequently referred to as both "dolls" and "action figures" by collectors.

The Vintage Era (1978–1980)
To capitalize on the massive success of the original movie, Kenner released a series of large-size poseable figures. These are highly prized for their detailed, nostalgia-inducing sculpts and real fabric outfits.

The 90s Revival: Collector Series & Action Collection (1996–2000)
When Star Wars toys returned to shelves in the mid-1990s, Hasbro (under the Kenner brand name) revived the 12-inch scale with two premium lines packaged in display-friendly window boxes
